I felt led to attend the Deeper Still conference with Beth Moore, Kay Arthur and Priscila Shrier in Nashville in September of 2007. I did not have a ticket, but I really felt led to go. As I continued to pray and ask God to show me what to do I kept hearing "Trust Me" or things about faith. Everything was in place for me to go (from my husband being off to watch the kids to the money being available) the only thing that I did not have was a ticket. My mother-in-laws church was planning on leaving Friday morning. So I showed up packed and ready to go with my luggage, my money and God's words ringing in my ears "TRUST ME". So I did just that.

After having my husband pray for me before I got out of the van to go, I went and asked if I could tag along and bunk with someone. I live 300 miles and 5 1/2 hours away from Nashville, in Asheville NC. They talked about it and said that I could go. I was thinking that I was going to have to bunk with someone and sleep on a pull out couch or a roll away bed. But to my surprise God had already provided the way for me. There was one lady who was all by herself in a room. Every one else was two to a room. Except for one room that had three ladies because they were all family and wanted to room together. So I had a room AND a bed.

When we got there (to the coliseum) I still did not have a ticket. I was in a strange town and no way place to go if God did not provide. Here is the extraordinary part of my story. Not only did God provide me with a ticket to this sold out conference of 23,000 women, but He did it for FREE! Yes, I said for free. As I walked across the street to the coliseum there was a lady holding up a sign that said FREE TICKETS. Isn't my God sooo good! I was truly blessed by this conference. God taught me a lot of things and brought me back to Him in a way that was really special and extraordinary in its own right.
