On our first trip to Florida from Texas for a
family vacation, my family was excited to go. We had traveled 25 hours
and we were exhausted. When we finally reached West Palm Beach, Florida,
I called my sister to direct us to her house. All of the phone lines
were down for repairs! I thought, "Not now, God. We are exhausted." My
sons were tired and cranky, my husband had driven the last 10 hours
straight and we all needed a good hot bath.
Finally, I began to pray as we were driving
around. I said "Lord, we have driven a long time and we are exhausted
please help us find my sister's house."
Immediately I looked straight ahead and there was
my sister's car. She couldn't believe we had found her house! God will
direct you if you just listen for the still small voice. God is good all
of the time!!
